Jackery vs. EcoFlow (2026)
At the same price for about 1 kWh, we’d buy the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Classic over the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2: 1,800W of output against 1,500W, 500W of solar input against 400W, and a published 10 ms UPS switchover. The Jackery is the pick if you’ll carry it often: 23.8 lb, a little more capacity at 1,070 Wh, and a 4,000-cycle rating.
The Short Version
At default settings the DELTA 3 Classic charges from the wall to 80 percent in 45 minutes, and EcoFlow lists a 10 ms switchover, a number to plan on for a modem and router. Jackery reaches a full charge in an hour only with its emergency mode switched on.
For home backup, Jackery’s HomePower 2000 Plus v2 is a 120V unit that starts at well under half the DELTA Pro 3’s price, for half the starting capacity, and grows to about 12 kWh with packs priced separately. EcoFlow’s DELTA Pro 3 makes 240V for a well pump or central AC.
Choose EcoFlow if
You want 1,800W and 500W of solar input at the same price as the Jackery, a stated UPS switchover, or 240V home backup from one unit.
Choose Jackery if
You’ll carry it often and want the lighter 1 kWh unit with the published cycle rating, or you want 120V home backup with the lower starting price (both home units expand to about 12 kWh).

Output and Charging
The DELTA 3 Classic’s 1,800W against the Jackery’s 1,500W is the gap you’d notice first: a microwave or a coffee maker alongside a fridge is more likely to fit under EcoFlow’s limit. At default settings charging favors EcoFlow too, at 80 percent in 45 minutes from the wall against 1.7 hours to full for the Jackery. Jackery’s one-hour full charge needs its emergency mode switched on in the app before each charge.
If you’ll recharge from panels during an outage, the EcoFlow accepts 500W against the Jackery’s 400W, and Jackery’s listing limits the Explorer 1000 v2 to Jackery panels.
Weight and Battery Life
The Explorer 1000 v2 weighs 23.8 lb with a folding handle, about 3 lb less than the DELTA 3 Classic. Jackery rates it for 4,000 cycles to 70 percent of its original capacity and calls that more than 10 years of life. EcoFlow’s product page we read gives no cycle figure for the Classic, so we can’t compare the two on battery life. Both list five years of coverage in total; EcoFlow’s last two years need app registration, and the Jackery page we read doesn’t state a condition for its extra two.

| DELTA Pro 3 on Amazon | HomePower 2000 Plus v2 on Amazon |
The DELTA Pro 3 makes 240V from the unit and EcoFlow rates it for an 8,000W surge, so it’s our pick for a well pump. The HomePower 2000 Plus v2 can’t make 240V, and Jackery says two units can’t be paired to make it either, but it weighs 41.45 lb and expands to about 12 kWh with Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 units. Which One Should You Buy?
At 1 kWh, buy the DELTA 3 Classic unless you’ll carry it often; then the 23.8 lb Explorer 1000 v2 is the one to take. For home backup, buy the DELTA Pro 3 if anything on your list runs on 240V, and the HomePower 2000 Plus v2 if everything runs on 120V and fits under its 2,400W; above that, the DELTA Pro 3’s 4,000W covers it. How We Compared
EcoFlow specs come from EcoFlow’s US product pages; Jackery specs come from jackery.com, its FAQ and the Explorer 1000 v2’s Amazon listing. Prices were read on Amazon on October 25, 2026. We have not tested these units hands-on. Our editorial policy explains how picks are made.
